What is a parable?

A parable is a story taken from real life (or real-life situation) from which a moral or spiritual truth is drawn to apply. Simply put, a parable is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning.  Throughout this series we will walk with Jesus as we learn about these often-misunderstood truths and how they can revolutionize our perspective of life now and forever more.
