It’s one of the first things we ever learn to say in life. Not long after we learn to say, ”Ma-ma” and ”Da-da” we learn to say it. Like it’s a rite of passage or a prerequisite to enroll pre-school, we must learn to say, ”THAT’S NOT FAIR!”
The kids have to eat vegetables while the parents do not have to. That’s not fair! Unfortunately, it doesn’t get any easier as you get older. Maybe you applied for the job but didn’t get it because someone knows the boss. That’s not fair! However, this heart attitude, this demand for fairness is often directed at God over more serious life issues like wanting a child but can’t have one. That’s not fair!
