More Than a Carpenter is one of the best-selling Christian books ever that has been placed in the hands of over 15 million people around the world. Josh McDowell who was a former skeptic of Jesus wrote this book to examine the evidence about Jesus. Is He really the Lord He claimed to be? How can we know for sure? More than a Carpenter investigates hard questions about the reliability of biblical records, the resurrection and the relationship between faith and science. We feel that a discussion based upon this book will enhance opportunities for people to discuss the topics addressed in the book.
During this discussion series we have two objectives.
1. For followers of Jesus to know why they believe what they believe that will cause them to walk in a closer relationship with Jesus.
2. For people who are curious about Jesus and Christianity, we want the content and discussions to lead to an honest consideration and evaluation as to who Jesus Christ is.
