VIRTUE: RESPONSIBILITY- Proving you can be trusted with what
is expected
of you.
This month, let’s think about how:
(1)
God has proven He can be trusted.
(2)
When we trust Him and we respond to Him with our abilities, we are
responsible.
(3)
When we are responsible, we live a good story. We are a light to
others. They will see our good works and glorify God because of how
they see Him at work in us.
Remember: A virtue
is something God does in us to change the world around us.
In the clubhouse, Simon is so excited to show his mom how much he
loves her, that his sweet gesture goes a bit overboard, as only
Simon can do. Darcie
learns a valuable lesson about hurtful words as she and Aggie try to
work Simon’s new invention. Let’s
hope Darcie’s whole cast and crew doesn’t quit while she is
trying to learn this lesson.
In the Word section, Sam Shovel is having a hard time talking- well,
being understood anyway. When
his dentist arrives it gets even worse!
The humor of this sketch will definitely drive home the Bible
lesson of choosing encouraging words.
God is responsible
and our responsibility is a reflection of God. When we show responsibility, we are building
trust with people.
Come as a family, eat, laugh, learn
and use the month of May to grow in RESPONSIBILITY together.
You won't want to miss this!
DINNER: At 6:00 we will be serving hot dogs, potato salad and
having a sundae bar for dessert. Then move into our theater for the
production at 7:00. This
is our season finale!!!!
See you there!
